While the 2000 Census accounted for some 1.25 million persons who self-identify with an Arabic-speaking origin,
our estimates (based on research done by the Zogby International polling and marketing firm) place the population at more than 3.5 million.
This number includes Arabic-speaking American citizens or permanent residents who trace their origins to any one of 22 Arab-speaking countries in the Middle East, a region that includes northern Africa and Middle East.
Allied Media provides advertisers a clear image of who is included in this ethnic market, the relationship of the Arab American communities with the media, their behavior and the way to effectively reach out to them.
Allied Media has been working with the communities enough to know what type of advertising works effectively and what doesn't. We believe that our clients should understand the cultural differences, the subtleties of the culture and the language in order to deliver an honest non-offending and effective content.
As an example of the campaigns we ran for a client, Allied Media provided a media plan that provided a clear understanding of when to advertise to the community, why that is the best time to advertise, where to advertise and what to say or write in the ad. Allied Media provided numbers and charts giving the client a clear understanding of the demographic distribution of the Arab American Community in the U.S.
Allied Media works with all media outlets that reach the targeted communities. We provide our clients’ information on local and national Arabic television channels, their viewership and coverage, the Arabic newspapers and magazines, their readership and demographics, and finally Arabic radio broadcasters and programs.
We take into account advertisers specific needs and provide custom made recommendations that would generate maximum response as well as build long term relationships with the community. |
